An organizational unit system
Mental health affects many aspects of our daily lives, one of those being Organization
There becomes a cycle of not cleaning a space for days, weeks, or longer and then cleaning everything in a matter of hours
Design a product that helps break the cleaning cycle and encourages bite-sized cleaning using a reward-based system
While I started with a single unit with adjustable separators, Individual units offered more customization and opportunity.
A light will go off every time an object is placed in the container
Setting a time limit can help encourage bite-sized cleaning
Attaching to each other with magnets offers customization
The containers will double as display cases that can be hung on the wall
I started to solve the visibility problem with a window and I found that organic curves and a material break created a more dynamic shape.
This model was built with wood, 3D Printing, and a fabric bottom
The blue light glows off the plastic even in bright areas
The mini Cub was built to show off the magnets in the base
The model can also attach to the wall and hold objects
